It is a child-centred approach that emphasises children’s interactions during learning. It is designed to meet children’s interests, allowing children to gain opportunities to discover and explore through hands-on activities. Children are fully engaged in a wide range of activities, such as observation, interviews, research, exhibitions, recording, collecting statistics, analysis, that help broaden their understanding about the subject, stimulate their interest in self-directed learning and enhance their problem-solving skills. They will also be able to develop positive characters through working with their peers.
